Great call with Prof. Marincola

Folks,

As many of you know, we had a great call with the editor of the Penguin edition of Herodotus, Prof. John Marincola.

He spoke 1.5 hours on the phone with us discussing the book, answering questions and explaining why he believes it’s important to read Herodotus’ Histories 2500 years after it was first written.

Here’s the audio version (Windows Media player) of the call. Click and enjoy!

The buzzing sound you first hear goes away after the first 20 seconds.

Again, thanks to Prof. Marincola for graciously sharing his time and insights.

Best,

Phil
