Cyndie Beckwith (TOR)

Cyndie Beckwith joined CSAA in 2002, bringing with her more than 16 years of proven customer marketing and customer management experience to her role as Vice President, Customer Experience for CSAA. At CSAA, Cyndie is responsible for managing all aspects of customer marketing for the insurance, membership and travel divisions, user experience and brand management. She is a key member of the company’s operational leadership team, bringing the Voice of the Customer to strategic and operational decisions.

Prior to CSAA, Cyndie most was Vice President at E.piphany where she led the organization’s worldwide CRM practice. Cyndie also served more than 12 years at Epsilon where she was a senior leader in the retail and telecommunications practices.

In her career Cyndie has consulted with several leading Fortune 100 companies on effectively leveraging customer information for marketing, operations and strategic planning. Through her work with these companies, she designed customer-centric marketing plans, databases and business processes focusing on turn information into knowledge and knowledge into actionable and measurable plans. Clients have included: American Express, Nordstrom, Amazon, Microsoft, IKEA, and Verizon.

Cyndie holds a bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Eric Harris (TOR)

Eric is responsible for all Operative product development and leading all phases of the product development process. Prior to taking over Product, Eric built out the Operative professional services group.

Prior to Operative, Eric built an independent consultancy that provided services to such notable online brands as, Edmunds.com, the Online Publishers Association (OPA), and Tacoda where he served as product manager for the Audience Match Network.

Before that Eric spent 5 years at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, most recently as Director of Operations, where he worked to identify inefficiencies and streamline overall operations.

Eric also worked led several PeopleSoft projects during his time at Price Waterhouse and ManorCare Health Services.

Eric obtained both his BS and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

David Schrieberg (TOR)

Based in Luxembourg since 2003, David leads an international team for AOL Europe that guides AOL’s content programming, design and metrics groups in the UK, Germany, and France and coordinates with AOL’s US global headquarters. The team’s mandate: To improve the quality of AOL’s audience offer. He has headed AOL’s web-based programming expansion into new countries in Europe, and is currently developing new AOL content verticals in Europe. He specializes in the creation and presentation of online content that engages audiences and generates revenue.

Prior to his current position, he founded and led a Silicon Valley-based web strategy firm that created best programming practices for corporate clients, including AOL, AOL International, Netscape and CompuServe. The firm also created email newsletter strategy and executed newsletter production and programming.

Schrieberg jumped to New Media in 1998 after a seventeen-year prize-winning career as a writer, journalist and foreign correspondent for a variety of media companies, among them Washington Post-Newsweek, Knight-Ridder and McClatchy Newspapers. His last foreign posting was in South America as Bureau Chief for Newsweek, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is married and has two teenage sons.

Jay Girotto (TOR)

Jay Girotto spent the last several years building the various Live Search products including Live Academic Search and the library and publisher programs for Live Book Search.

He manges a team of 50 people involved in product development, program management, operations, and software testing. His team is responsible for expanding the size of the Live Search beyond what automated crawlers can crawler on the web. This includes various sources of information like academic journals, books, newspapers, magazines, video, images, and deep web databases, and involves managing a budget of approximately $30M per year for product development and content acquisition.

Prior to joining Microsoft, he led the product management group at DemandTec, the provider of pricing and promotion optimization software to retailers and consumer packaged goods companies. Jay also worked at Homestead Technologies, the award-winning provider of web publishing software, and Bain & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm. Born and raised in Iowa, he now lives in Kirkland, WA with his wife and daughters. Jay holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an A.B. from Harvard University in Government and Economics.

John Halloran (A2009)

John leads all product management efforts at Liquidnet, including design, product definition and business analysis. As one of the first employees of the company – John built and managed Liquidnet’s implementation group, which is responsible for installing, integrating and maintaining the Liquidnet system at Member sites. More recently, John has overseen the creation and staffing of a dedicated interaction design team within Liquidnet’s software development process.

In 6 years of operation, Liquidnet has been recognized by Institutional Investor as the #1 Brokerage Firm for Global Trading’; quickly besting long-established players in the institutional equity trading space. Liquidnet owes much of this success to the attention it pays to user experience. The foundation of the Liquidnet user experience is Liquidnet’ patented integration with Order Management Systems, of which John is an inventor. Currently, John is at work on the problems of internationalizing the Liquidnet offering; maintaining an elegant and consistent user experience that transcends diverse national, cultural and regulatory boundaries.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Occidental College, and is a graduate of Columbia University’s Computer Technology and Applications program. He lives in Manhattan with his wife and 2 young children.

Alexandre Douzet (TOR)

Alexandre Douzet is Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing for TheLadders.com. In this role, he oversees all marketing and branding functions, marketing research, public relations efforts, and reporting and data-mining activities. He brings extensive direct marketing and international experience to the company, and has grown TheLadders.com’s subscription base from zero to more than 500,000 members in two years.

Prior to TheLadders.com, Douzet was Director of Online Marketing at HotJobs.com where he led the job seeker acquisition effort and helped improve site performance. Before joining HotJobs.com, Douzet worked at BMG Direct, the world’s largest music club, where he managed the marketing, planning and analysis group for the pop, jazz and classical music clubs. There, he helped acquire 10 million new members each year.

Douzet also has experience in the catalog, fund raising and financial services industries. He was an instructor of Direct Marketing, Financial Planning and Analysis at New York University, and was a Marketing Analyst for Air France.

Douzet holds an MBA from INSEAD; a master’s in direct marketing from New York University, where he received the “Lester Wunderman” Award; and a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Lyon III in France. He is fluent in French and English, and is conversational in Spanish.

Catherine Paschkewitz is director of consumer marketing for hpshopping.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard Company and HPs award-winning direct-to-consumer electronic commerce store. hpshopping.com sells a complete selection of HP consumer products including personal computers, printers, scanners, supplies and accessories, as well as a host of refurbished HP products.

Paschkewitz oversees customer acquisition and retention initiatives, including online marketing, direct marketing, credit card marketing, advertising, and customer analytics. Her focus is on building customer relations through integrated efforts and on driving ROI through ongoing testing and measurement. Previously, she was Director of Strategy and Market Research for hpshopping.com where she spearheaded the development of the hpshopping.com value proposition, leading to an improved ability to target and market to key customer segments.

Paschkewitz holds a M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining hpshopping.com, she was a management consultant focusing on business and marketing strategy issues.
